Reese Witherspoon Says Co-Star Robert Pattinson Is Dirty

Reese Witherspoon says her  Co-Star in “Water for Elephants,” Robert Pattinson is always dirty…There’s no doubt that Reese Witherspoon loved working with Robert Pattinson in “Water for Elephants.” However she found his grooming habits a bit off. She says he had dirty fingernails and hair and that his clothes were always dirty!

But she doesn’t blame him either, the movie takes place in a circus and sometimes you just get a little grimy. I suppose her comment was more endearing than offensive.

The Film will be out on April 22 and the costars will be hitting Las Vegas and will be presenting together in the Academy of Country Music Awards.

The Adjustment Bureau Movie Review

“The Adjustment Bureau” with Matt Damon, Emily Blunt & John Slattery is a really good movie. It’s like a romantic, sci-Fi/ thriller. Though the story could have been richer it kept me interested and I’m sure many will appreciate this movie and the idea behind it. It’s a mix between “The Box” & “Ink“.

Basically the movie is about a politician (Matt Damon) and a ballet/modern dancer (Emily Blunt). They meet and fall in love, rapidly… However “free will” as we know it doesn’t exist. They’re not on the same path according to the books that the “agents” keep per individual and they will stop at nothing to keep them apart.

These agents map “your” lives and are always around being sure that plans go accordingly. They wear special hats that get them in  and out through special doors. They’ll reset individuals that stray from “paths“, only they’ll never know…

It was a good watch, however, something was lacking. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Emily Blunt looks absolutely stunning and she and Matt Damon had a really nice chemistry throughout the movie. All in all, for a PG 13 movie I give it 3/5* and recommend it.

Top 10 Women Empowering Movies of All Time

Though I’m not a hardcore fan of chick flicks, I’ve compiled a short list of a few women empowering movies that I just love. I don’t consider them to be your ordinary chick flicks. These films are filled with humorous moments but deliver powerful messages. It just rocks when you see women coming together and sticking to their guns through thick and thin. There’s nothing more empowering. Movies such as “Mean Girls” are fun to watch but don’t leave any impact they also, lack in showing in how much we can accomplish when we work together for a good cause. Women can be atrocious to one another, but that’s much too easy. If you’re feeling a little down, these movies are perfect for lifting your spirits. It’s awesome to watch women come together and kick some ass!

Here are my Top 10 Women Empowering Movies of all Time:

  • #1 Thelma & Louise
  • #2 Fried Green Tomatoes
  • #3 The Divine Secrets Of The Ya-Ya Sisterhood
  • #4 Practical Magic
  • #5 The Witches of Eastwick
  • #6 Josie & The Pussy Cats
  • #7 Erin Brockovich
  • #8 The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love
  • #9 ExTerminators
  • #10 But I’m a Cheerleader

In these movies, women are confronted with obstacles but manage to maintain together and prevail at the end in glorious ways.

Check these out if you haven’t.  At Meet Locals we’d love to see you’re list of women/girl empowering movies. We’d love to hear from you. Feel free to drop any comments/suggestions.
